It pains me that I haven't seen any of the big award contender movies this year-- the Departed was an unfortunate miss in nyc, but hey, we did catch the Queen, which had the outstanding Helen Mirren. But now it seems that Martin Scorcese would be denied his acknowledgement once again-- a huge film is looming on the horizons-- Dreamgirls. If the studio plays their cards right, this would be Chicago , but bigger. I would say that the buzz for Dreamgirls is deafening right now. Especially about Jennifer Hudson's astonishing performance.
