it seems to me that every house i visited this festive season has at least a flat screen monitor. why am i not in the loop?

vanilla sky is a good film. to quote millie, it's an underrated tom cruise movie. it's got a great soundtrack- took me a while to recognise the sigur ros song.. anyway, i always thought penelope cruz was not very gorgeous but after the movie, i've gotta admit, i'd fall hook line and sinker for that accent alone.

i just did an exhausting project of sorts for my sis. she has to submit a family tree story for a contest. i've no idea what the prizes are; the poster says only 'prizes to be won'. but damn, she'd better win. spent the past two hours scanning ancient photos and typing it out. the photos makes me wonder how we grow up so fast.
