Jia lat. My grades are so bad, I think I'm gonna get a warning letter at the end of the semester. Maybe I'll blame it on 2 years of ns and say that I got stupid. I'm sure everyone's complaining about the same things, that they're very stressed and they can barely keep up and they have no life besides mugging in the library and in the room, so there's no point adding to the complaints. However, I'm doubly screwed this week-- I'm supposed to be reading a novel for class but the store was out of stock so I don't have it and my prof agrees that I am in big trouble.. and I mixed up the bill payment date and I'm now late for payment. Note to self- do not procrastinate! Do not do work on the bed and oversleep the next morning! Do not spend your friday night watching desperate housewives! Do better for the next prelim. Drink more frappucino. Call home. Make more friends. Perhaps the opposite is true-- that I have been spending too much time slacking away, as these photos will attest to.


Doing a road trip is very fun unless you have to travel across several states in a span of four days and have unreliable and confusing map directions that make you go on endless highways and then take forever to find an exit to u-turn.

Salem sucked. Do not go there. The witch musuem was crap too.

Wrentham's factory outlets were retail therapy heaven. I love the calvin klein clothes. And a ralph lauren polo for 19 US dollars? Now I regret not buying more stuff..but it's ok, I'll make it to woodbury one day.


<-- Frank Gehry rocks! I was driving so I couldn't take better pictures of the building. Driving rocks larh.. can hit 85 miles per hour on the interstate.. but a few of us got either pulled over by the police or a warning, so I didn't dare speed so much. Boston was wet and cloudy and downright depressing. Didn't go into the city center cuz we didn't plan for it. MIT was ugly and sad looking. Harvard looked nicer and harvard square had a good asian restaurant-- the psuedo authentic chinese rice with garlic chilli and char kway teow made the 7 hour drive worth it.

Besides the first night when we played poker, we went back to the hotel everynight and everyone took out their laptops or textbooks and started doing work for the next few hours. It was misery.

Ben and Jerry's ice cream factory. Not too much to see.. definitely not like charlie and the chocolate factory. It only came with 2 small cups of free ice cream.

Got lost in this bloody corn maze for 3 hours. See the indian head? There was only like one way in and out but we thought we were on the right track so we spent lots of time inside. Two times we went back to the start point. But after we came out there was a mini golf course and we used the sticks to play hockey/floorball instead. That was fun, but because it was cold I had a runny nose within a few minutes of running around.
